On the beautiful Key Peninsula, our students learn rain and shine. Preschool and Co-op programs will open in the fall and will run throughout the year.

We have extended care for fulltime nature based childcare. ​

Forest

Co-op Preschool
Ages 3-5

Our Co-op preschool is the heart and soul of our work at the Key Peninsula Preschool. Now enrolling for 2025-26 school year, we will offer both morning and afternoon classes 4 child days a week in an indoor classroom.

Forest Friends of the KP
Ages 2.5-5

Forest Friends of the KP is an

all day, immersive experience geared for children yearning for adventure. This class will be a forest school and will be outside rain and shine all year long!

Infant and Toddler Room

Introducing a brand new childcare for infants and toddlers on the KP! Children ages 3 months-2.5 years can enjoy our indoor classroom designed for their development! ​

Mommy and Me
Class

Introducing a brand new class for caretakers and their babies on the KP! Children under 3 years are welcome to join their caregiver on Friday mornings for engaging play and community building! ​

Our Mission is to support the children and families of the Key Peninsula by providing high-quality childcare, cooperative preschool programs, nature-based early childhood education, and family resource services. We are devoted to creating an environment that helps children thrive, breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty, and eradicating the childcare desert in our community.
